Suffolk Sideboard
Suffolk Sideboard
This elegant piece in elm, with contrasting ash side panels and door frames, and chestnut backing, has steam bent concave sides. It is made from solid timber that is locally sourced.
The cupboard door panels are crafted from book-matched oak, with curved door frames.
There are no door handles. The doors open using a touch latch system, by gently pressing the top outer corners. This creates a smooth and seamless opening/closing mechanism.
A groove has been carved into the top of the door rail to enable the door to be opened fully.
The doors open with ease on a pivot system and bearings to ensure a smooth movement.
Every joint is skilfully morticed by hand and secured with pegs for lasting durability.
This can be made to a required size and in a choice of English hardwoods.
