Arger Fen chest of drawers

This chest of drawers is crafted from locally sourced, sustainable hardwoods, combining functionality with unique design. Perfect for a bedroom or hallway, it offers both practicality and visual appeal.

The carcass and top are made from elm, while the drawer fronts and steam-bent sides are crafted from cherry. These two woods harmonize beautifully, highlighting the richness of cherry and the distinctive grain patterns of elm.

The curved drawer fronts echo the flowing lines of the steam-bent sides and the asymmetrical plinth, creating a cohesive and elegant design. The drawers are built with solid oak sides for durability, cedar bottoms for natural moth resistance and a light fragrance, and are pegged with contrasting walnut for added character.

Hand-forged wrought iron handles provide a handcrafted touch, complementing the warmth of the wood. The back panel, made from solid chestnut, completes the piece with strength and refinement.
